As part of our collaboration with Cru Moldova, Church Without Walls is actively involved in spreading the Gospel throughout the country.
Discover the exciting highlights of our ministry in Moldova:
- Most of our staff are university graduates who have completed two to four years of rigorous ministry training.
- Moldovans are more open to the Gospel than ever before because decades of atheistic communism have left a spiritual void.
- Since 1995, when just two full-time staff members started the ministry, Cru has been effectively serving in Moldova. Over the years, many dedicated staff and volunteers have devoted themselves to evangelism and discipleship.
- Nearly everyone in Moldova speaks Romanian and Russian, providing a unique opportunity for Moldovan missionaries to share the Gospel in Russia. In 2003, our first missionary went to Voronezh to start a student ministry. From 2009 to 2017, a team of five missionaries served in Ufa, Russia — a predominantly Muslim region. Currently, Cru sends teams on short-term mission trips to various cities in Russia every year. Since 2015, we have a couple serving at the regional level in Hungary. We remain committed to raising, training, and sending missionaries to other countries, especially Russia.
